Tuesday morning felt a little
like the movie Groundhog Day.
For the third straight week a
Union Lady Bulldog took home the Women's Transouth Player of
the week award.
Sara Chan has now won the award
in back to back weeks. The 6-foot-4 senior from Sudan helped
lead her top ranked squad to a 2-0 week.
Chan averaged 19 points, 8.5
rebounds and 1 steal per contest, while shooting 61% from
the field. Her best game against #6 ranked Freed-Hardeman
Lady Lions. The center went for 23 points and 12 rebounds in
an 87-63 Bulldog win.
UU is now 17-1 overall and 4-0
in conference play.
