Metro Narcotics 13th
meth bust this year sent a Jackson man to jail after
officers found a meth lab in his motel room.
According to investigators, Jeremiah Horne, 25, is
facing charges of initiation of mehtamphetamine
manufacture, possession of meth with intent to sell
or deliver and felony possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Officers said they
arrested Horne at the Old Hickory Inn on Friday
night after receiving a tip that there was a meth
lab in a room. During a search, police said they
found chemicals and other meth making materials.
They also discovered finished product.
Officers said they saw
evidence from a previous meth cook so they called in
Hazardous materials contractors to clean the room.
It is deemed safe.
