A Jackson man,
who was out on bond, has been found guilty of rape and sexual
battery of a 13-year -old girl.
According to the
Jackson Police Department Jeffrey Douglas, 44 was immediately
taken into custody and will remain behind bars until his
sentencing, scheduled for March 15. Investigators said he
inappropriately touched a friend of his stepdaughter's on April
15 and sexually assaulted her. He could face up to 36 years in
jail.
